He is a highly experienced Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Practitioner with more than 11 years of experience in behaviour analysis, including three years of dedicated PBS practice in Australia. He currently supports NDIS participants aged six to 63 with diverse and complex needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Intellectual Disability, Schizophrenia, Borderline Personality Disorder, Dementia, Traumatic Brain Injury, and
Alcohol and Other Drugs (AoD) dependencies.
Vijo specialises in functional behaviour assessment, Positive Behaviour Support, communication and skill development, support for complex behaviours of concern, data-informed practice, and training for families, carers and support teams. He works collaboratively with participants and their support networks to develop practical strategies that promote independence, participation, dignity and quality of life.
His practice is grounded in trauma-informed, culturally responsive and person-centred approaches. He draws on evidence-based behavioural strategies including Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), Functional Communication Training (FCT), differential reinforcement, shaping, reinforcement-based interventions, proactive environmental strategies.
