Islam completed a Bachelor of Speech Pathology from Australian Catholic University. She is a certified practicing Speech Pathologist and is trained in PECS (level 1) as well as Key Word Sign.
Islam has many years of experience working in both public and private settings and with culturally and linguistically diverse children who have various support needs.
Islam has experience working with children with various communication difficulties, including those with autism spectrum disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, developmental delay, down syndrome, and intellectual disability.’
Islam provides evidence based Speech Pathology treatment and client centred care.
She provides services to children and young adults with speech, language, literacy, voice, fluency, as well as social and multimodal communication difficulties.
Islam enjoys working with her clients and their families to meet their goals whilst having fun along the way
