Psychologist

Qualifications:

Natalya completed her Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and working towards her PhD in Clinical Psychology. Natalya is a Registered (General) Psychologist with the Australian Health Regulation Agency.

 

Experience:

Natalya has experience working with a diverse range of clients including children, adolescents, and adults with NDIS support, forensic clients with intellectual disabilities, clients from regional and rural communities, young adults experiencing substance use difficulties and domestic violence, and older adults experiencing changes in their cognitive functioning.

Areas of expertise:

She specialises in;

  • Autism
  • ADHD,
  • Depression
  • Anxiety disorders including generalised anxiety
  • Panic disorder
  • OCD; PTSD and C-PTSD.
  • She also offers a range of diagnostic assessment services including for autism, learning disorders, intellectual disability, and mental health diagnoses.

 

Treatment Modalities:

Natalya uses a range of evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness to achieve positive results for her clients. Natalya is also experienced in Collaborative and Proactive Problem Solving, Tuning in to Kids emotion coaching, Circle of Security – Parenting, and the Secret Agent Society small group social skills program for children.

 

Provide Services To:

Natalya offers services for children, adolescents, adults, and aged clients. She accepts clients with a MHTP, NDIS plans, or private referrals.
