Delia is an Occupational therapist graduated in 2001 from the University of Sydney and has since completed Masters in Child Studies (Linkoping University, Sweden).
Delia is a mother of 3 children and has worked as a pediatric Occupational therapist for over 15 years with experience in Sydney, Melbourne and London. She has practiced in specialist developmental schools and community-based occupational therapy services, promote learning and development through play-based interventions with a child and family-centred approach.
Delia has experience with working with children who identify themselves as neurodivergent and their families, and children who experience global developmental delay, motor coordination difficulties and cognitive challenges. Delia provides a mobile service in the community, to home and schools. Also available for telehealth.
Trained in DIR Floortime, Learn to Play (Karen Stagnitti), Parent Coaching, SPARK communication (HANEN strategies), Handwriting, Sensory Processing.
Astronaut Program (supporting Sensory processing challenges in visual, vestibular and auditory systems), supporting motor coordination development and life skills development. Assessment and reports in functional capacity, motor coordination and sensory processing.
